String Orchestra of Decatur and Atlanta

SODA, String Orchestra of Decatur and Atlanta, began its inaugural season in September 2010 with 18 students and now has over 40!   The idea of SODA, is to allow students the opportunity to play in an ensemble outside of school or private lessons.  The students will learn the basics of playing in an orchestra, such as how to follow a conductor, how to lead a section, how to create a beautiful sound, and most importantly, how to listen and play with other instruments.
